I'm sitting in a library right now so I can't really edit and upload photos, but when the chance arises I will.

Denmark

We left Kiel on Saturday afternoon-ish, and headed north to Denmark. It wasnt much of a trip a few hours and we were in Copenhagen, Denmarks capital. Went to this hostel, DanHostel in the downtown and checked in, it was the biggest hostel both me and Kevin have ever seen. Spent some time touring around looking at the city. It is quite an interesting old city, filled with statues and palaces it defiantly has some history to it. Just spent most of the night wandering and looking nothing to exciting. Sunday we did a whole lot of exploring but not really on purpose, we drove all around looking for a campsite that we could stay at for the night. We didn't really find one that we were comfortable with so we starting heading back inside the city to return to our hostel, unhappy cause we didn't want to pay 3 or 4 times the amount of a hostel when we were prepared to camp. Luckily on our way back we found a nice campsite almost downtown and stayed there. We wanted to have some fun so we were looking all over for something to do, found this ad that said Copenhagen was having its very own Oktoberfest, and today was the last day. So we wondered over to the park where it was held, and it was done, over, kaput. But to compensate it didn't look like it was very good anyways, there was like 1 beer hall and like 2 stands, really pathetic. So we returned to the campsite and just hung out and ate some food, pretty un-excited stuff. But today we were able to do some touristy things which made us feel like we accomplished something in that city. Wandered about and saw some old palaces and churches. Then we headed over to the part of the city where its like, how would u describe it...Hippie-town-minus-the-police-presence. Its called Freetown Christiania, were the gov't and police have very little control over, the people live there for free, don't pay taxes and just squat almost. It's probably got some interesting history there, I really didnt look into it, but it was kind of cool. Then we packed up our bags and everything and headed north again to Sweden...
